32 years old gentleman, diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma. He underwent total thyroidectomy and radioisotope iodine treatment.
He presented with sudden onset of lower limb weakness and numbness below the ribs. MRI showed solitary metastatic (cancer) lesion to T6 vertebrae. He underwent en bloc resection of tumour and pyramesh cage reconstruction with posterior instrumentation. No other metastatic lesion seen in repeat MRI after 2 years later.
